A great prelude to the New Series the Boarding School. This is a story about 5 "boys" at an all male boarding school who get into fights, are all angry and all but 1 come from very rich families. Damon Galanos, Evan Harrison Aimsworth, Stephen Kozlov, Malik and Grayson each have their own story and even Scarlett will find her HEA.The Headmaster, Mr. Charles Evans should have expelled them but, he had just brought his 5 year old niece, Scarlett, to the school to live with him because her parents (his brother) had been in a car accident and passed away. As Mr. Evans and Scarlett come upon the same 5 boys fist fighting, again. They would not listen to him, but Scarlett raised her voice and told them to stop. They did. She made each one promise that they would never do that again. To her uncle’s amazement, they agreed to Scarlett’s demands.
As their promise begin to wane, Mr. Evans decided that he would make all 5 live in his home on the second floor where he could keep an eye on them. Scarlett became their little sister and they took care of her. When they graduated and were going on to college, Scarlett was upset and they agreed to come back often, and they did. In fact, on her first date, Mr. Evans had emailed them of this milestone and they all came and gave the date the third degree and finally ended up going to the movies with them and sitting behind them.
This is a great prelude and you don’t want to miss reading this before Book1. It is a book unto itself and 5+ Stars at that.

This was a wonderful start to the series. It is always great to have a back ground on the people you read about in books and to see where they come from. Can't wait to read the series of her other work is anything to go by I know it going to be amazing
It was lovely how a little girl could change five boys and become so caring with each other. The pranks that the boys came up with was super. Really enjoyable.
Enjoyable, Clean Entertainment. Too bad the rest of the series is about a bunch of arrogant, conceited, domineering jerks. Skipping five to six pages of descriptive smut in search of character development and plot just is to frustrating for words! The heroines so far are wishy washy and indecisive. The only female character I have liked so far is Scarlett!
Of course it is always wiser to read the introduction before reading other stories in the series. I wasn't so wise. LOL! This intorduction gives you the history of the the boys that became extraordinary men and how they went from hating each othe to being brothers. I love how little Charlotte was able to control them. I wish it would have gave more details on how Charlotte and Grayson fell in love.
I can't wait to read the Boarding School Series! I purposely waited until they were all out before I got ready to read them because I knew I was not going to be able to wait a month between each book! This is a great intro into the series and gives some great info on the dynamics of the boys' and Scarlett's relationship with each other and how it developed. I am glad I read this before I started the series.
I'm a big fan of Ms. Lennox, but really liked that she created this intro with background info on the 6 characters for the Boarding School Series. I've read the first release in the series and it really has made the story line and its direction much more consistent with the male character because you know where he is coming from. You will fall in love with Scarlett in this Intro as a young child and come to see how she is responsible for really saving five very young and lonely boys. She truly creates the family in this series of books.
I really enjoyed this book, which is a pre-quell to the "Boarding School Series" of books. I had already read the first book in this series (The Greek's Forgotten Wife) when I saw this introductory book listed. I immediately downloaded it, read it, and wished I had read it prior to Book #1 in the series. Each character in this introduction will have their own book, the first of which, (as I said), I have already read. It was a VERY good story which gripped and held my attention, and I have already pre-ordered Book #2 (The Duke's Blackmailed Bride).
This pre-quell will introduce you to 5 boys and 1 girl, all of whom meet at Boarding School. It also gives you a little background information on each character. Here you will meet 5 boys who fight constantly and who just "cannot" seem to get along......and the little girl who tamed their tempers and captured their hearts. You will also meet the person responsible for bringing these incredibly bright, (and yet emotionally deprived), characters together. In other circumstances, these 6 people would never have become friends, as they all come from such highly diverse backgrounds. And yet, as unlikely as it seems, they form a bond that lasts through their school years and beyond.
I am a great fan of Elizabeth Lennox and have read many of her books. I highly recommend this particular book and strongly suggest reading it before moving on to the additional books in this series. It's not mandatory, but will undoubtedly help you to understand the type of friendship these 6 characters share with one another, which will be helpful since I strongly suspect that they will be making appearances in each of the subsequent books.
